I still have so much more Ibiza content to share with you all (don’t panic there are still so many more holiday styles to come). I just really wanted to get this post up so I can show you all this beautiful Missguided dress which I picked up last week.
I am obsessed with this little classy white number, there is always something so elegant about a white dress. I think I will take this on holiday too actually, as it will look amazing with a tan! The only thing to consider is it might be too hot… However, some holiday destinations actually get quite chilly in the evenings. Another consideration for Ibiza FYI it gets colder in the eve – actually this dress would be perfect for there… Got sleeves, but still sassy and classy (where is the manicure emoji when you need it!)
White and silver is a perfect combination, so I teamed it with my Jewellery Box rings.-
Happy Easter Sunday! I hope you’re all well and are having a fab weekend whatever you are upto. Todays look is inspired by a festi-chic vibe, so if – like the rest of us – you didn’t make it to Coachella, don’t sweat it, I heard Palm Springs is over rated anyway *cries*.
I love the boho vibes of festival fashion so wanted to create something which drew upon this, but was also realistic in that it could be worn at home during summer! I’ve teamed the distressed denim skirt with the perspex boots which I think works beautifully. I know these boots won’t be for everyone, and I do feel a little late to the perspex party, but I just can not get enough of these right now! The star stud detail on the belt and bag is really festival esque and the bag has a really cool orange and blue strap. This loosely fitted top is super cute with the baggy sleeves and dainty tie detail, I’m going to take this on holiday to pop over my bikinis too!
So try creating some festival chic at home like me with some distressed denim, statement sunnies and boho details.
Welcome to part two of my summer skirt styling collaboration with Missguided. Todays style focuses on ways to make your maxi skirt styles a bit more glam.
Peace & Love to the Max
For an evening occasion wearing a maxi skirt isn’t a style I’d usually choose, normally I would opt for a mini skirt or dress combo, not a maxi skirt. I guess, in my mind I’ve mainly reserved these for a casual daytime looks and always thought that glamming these up would be difficult. So that’s what this post is all about, vamping up those maxi skirt styles!
If you choose a maxi which has a sheer material these are a lot more sassy and evening appropriate. I chose this skirt for its beautiful silky material and detailed cut which is uber glam when teamed with the right pieces. I chose a black strapless bodysuit from Missguided’s premium Peace & love collection along with gold accessories and strappy heels to set off this glam vibe. The gold accessories work beautifully with the dusty pink and black, and the contrast bettween the bandage top material and soft flowing skirt is a match made in heaven. This skirt also comes in black which is also beautiful and a bit more reserved if wearing pink isn’t your thing. You can also check out Missguided‘s full range of maxi skirts here.
This type of look is really a nice option if you want to try something a bit different. Especially with summer upon us whereby there are lots of opportunities to dress up for evening occasions and summer parties! Even alongside flat sandals this outfit would look fab… All links below.
Get Legs Ready
-Top Tips for Prepping Those Pins –
1. Hair removal hatin’? If your fed up of shaving your legs on the regs to maintain those silky smooth pins, perhaps try using an epilator. I recently invested in one and although it’s not pain free it lasts so much longer then shaving, making it the perfect solution for lasting hair removal.
2. Get your glow on! If you want to glow from this inside out try drinking more water each day and green tea too. The effect of this on the skin is amazing and not just on your face, your whole body!
3. Paint those toes! One way to keep your legs looking well maintained is it keep your toes looking beautiful. A simple file and polish is the perfect way to make your feet look well groomed ready for those summer sandals.
Happy Sunday, I hope you’ve all had a fabulous weekend. Todays style is an everyday look incorporating this beautiful Missguided mustard jacket with my must have jeans of the moment, yes those Missguided Vice Skinny Jeans, I now have them in blue!
I feel mustard is a colour usually shied away from as it’s quite striking, however when pulled off it can look incredible. As soon as I styled up this faux suede jacket in grey (back in Icy Blue Hues) I knew I had to get in in other colours; and the mustard seemed like a perfect opportunity to be experimental. I love the floppy style and relaxed tone it brings to an outfit. I’m also a big believer in buying things you love in multiple colours, if you find a style you adore and wear a lot, have no shame in stocking up!
The jacket looks amazing next to the bright blue of this denim so if you buy this mustard jacket I’d highly recommend you team it with these blue skinnies, and at only £25 they are such good value for money.
Mustard and nude look lovely together so if you’re concerned over what shoes to wear with this, stick some nudes on! I love these nude tassel heels from Missguided. You may recognise them from Baby Blue Missguided Blazer Dress post, where I wore them with a blue dress. This just shows how versatile they are and how nude heels are such a wardrobe staple these days!
